Rajinikanth was born into a Marathi family in Bengaluru where he attended the Gavipuram Government Kannada Model Primary School and the Acharya Patasala High School. He was an avid participant in school plays and dramas, which is where his passion for acting developed.
Following his heart, Rajinikanth took up an acting course from the then newly formed Madras Film Institute which introduced him to prominent Tamil film maker K Balachander. After that, there was no turning back and his career rose to legendary heights.
Despite his superstar status, Rajinikanth is known for his humility and down-to-earth nature, which brings him closer to his fans and colleagues alike.
Rajinikanth is all set to share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming project. The movie will be directed by director TJ Gnanavel and this project marks Rajini and Big B’s reunion. Their last joint project was the 1991 film ‘Hum,’ directed by Mukul Anand.
