On what would have been the 43rd birth anniversary of the late Model, they turned Indian TV actor/host Sidharth Shukla; Indian media personalities and Bollywood folks paid rich tribute to the budding star who passed away at age 40 on 2nd September 2021.

The renowned actor gained widespread recognition after participating in Bigg Boss 13 in 2019, ultimately emerging victorious in the competition. Had he been alive today, he would have celebrated his 43rd birthday.

Shehbaz Gill, younger brother of Shehnaz Gill, who was in a relationship with Sidharth Shukla, posted a touching message on his social media account: “Happy birthday, Sher. I feel so blessed that you were a part of our life. I hope you’re having the best time in heaven. Happy birthday again.”

Shukla’s remarkable ascent to international fame commenced in December 2005, when he captured the prestigious World’s Best Model title.

This victory, achieved against a diverse field of talented contenders from Asia, Latin America, and Europe, paved the way for his journey in entertainment. His acting debut arrived in 2008, with a leading role in the well-received show “Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.”

An accomplished individual in the Indian entertainment sector, he made a lasting impact with his performances in well-received series such as Balika Vadhu, Broken But Beautiful Three, and Dil Se Dil Tak.

In 2014, Sidharth made a significant breakthrough in Bollywood with a supporting role in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He played his part well and received much appreciation from the Bollywood industry.

During an interview with Humans of Bombay, the late actor spoke about his relationship with his mother. “I didn’t talk to her for months.

It doesn’t sound too cool to say it at 39–but being away from her was the most challenging part of the show. So, when I received a letter from her on set, I sat & read it in her voice–it felt like she was right next to me & that letter was a piece of her”, the actor had said.

He added, “Every time she tells me she’s proud of me, I feel like the happiest man on earth because I can put a smile on her face; she’s a woman who means everything to me.

Even today, she’s my anchor & never fails to give me her daily dose of advice–when I finally saw her on set after three long months, she told me to stop wearing shorts all the time & to put on a pair of jeans!”

Social media was flooded with messages and posts from Sidharth’s fans and other netizens.

From missing their beloved star to remembering his memorable roles in TV serials like Balika Vadhu, the late star has left a void in the Indian entertainment industry that will be very difficult to fill.
