Washington —– President Biden claimed Sunday that he is looking for stability in the contentious U.S.-China connection while he saw the region to enhance U.S. connections with China’s next-door neighbors.
“I do not want to include China,” Mr. Biden told reporters throughout an information conference in Hanoi, Vietnam. “I simply wish to see to it that we have a connection with China that is on the up and up settled away, everyone knows what it’s everything about.”
Mr. Biden went to India for the G20 top prior to taking a trip to Vietnam to upgrade the partnership in between both countries to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The classification places the U.S. on the same level with Hanoi as China and Russia.
“Having India work together far more with the United States, be closer to the USA, Vietnam being better with the USA, it’s not concerning containing China. It’s about having a secure base, a stable base in Indo-Pacific,” he claimed.
